MISS GAY UNIVERSE - MELBOURNE 2007: A NIGHT OF BEAUTY AND MAGIC

After the recently concluded Miss Gay Exotica (all gay pinoy contests) held at the Centro (a newly established pinoy venue) a month ago, another beauty pageant was held on the 14th of September 2007 in the same venue.  This time, it is bigger and participated in by eleven contestants (of different nationalities) andrepresenting the countries of their choice.

 

 

AND THE WINNERS ARE:

 

  

MISS GAY UNIVERSE

Cashandra Cash (Thailand).  Cash is only 21 years old Thai ladyboy and is currently studying English in Australia.  She said that this is the first time she attended a beauty contest.  

Also winner of Best in Gown and Casual Attire.   (Prizes received were: Makati Crown,  Golden Sash, Trophies, 2 Return airtrips to Sydney, Cash, Gift Vouchers and Certificates, and three months reign as Miss Gay Universe)

FIRST RUNNER UP

Gabriella Louisse Mendoza (Philippines).  Gabby is a 23 years old Filipina ladyboy from Cagayan de Oro City.   Working as nurse in Philipp Island.  She is currently happily married to an Aussie and dreams of having a lot of babies in the future.   Gabby was second runner up in the Miss Gay Exotica and she is also 2006 winner of Miss Lotus in Melbourne.

Also winner of Best National Costume Award.

Prizes received were:  Trophies,  Cash, Sash, Gift Vouchers and Beauty Gift Packs.  And she will automatically get the title if in case the reigning Miss Gay Universe could not fulfill her duties.

SECOND RUNNER UP 

Jasmine Ayala Zobel (Puerto Rico).   Jasmine is a 25 years old beauty queen from Cebu.  She is also happily in a relationship and works as an Electronics Engineer.   Jasmine is the 2006 Miss Lotus of Melbourne and she is also doing a lot of drag performances all over Melbourne.   She won Miss Gay Exotica last month.   Jasmine is the epitome of elegance and poise.

She is a true winner!

THIRD RUNNER UP

Camera Holden (LAOS),  Kam as she is fondly called by friends is only 27 years old Lady Show girl from Thailand.   She is currently working in one of the Thai restaurants in Melbourne and she is also doing a lot of drag shows in Asian Gay Venues.  Kam is first runner up in the 2006 Miss Lotus in Melbourne.

FOURTH RUNNER UP 

  Maria Gayzha Sebastian de Dios (Venezuela).  

Gayzha is a 24 year old ladyboy from the Philippines …..

  O sige na nga! I was soooo happy that I still landed on the top five!   Honestly, this competition was really fierce and the girls were upto their best.   Anyway, to ease me during the contest, I just thought that I joined to hav a great time and winning is just a consolation prize!
