Sorry guys and girls for not being able to update my blog for the past two weeks. I have just been busy with so many drag activities including the recently concluded Miss Lotus 2007 – at the Opium Den formerly the Star Hotel in Melbourne.
The Miss Lotus competition, has gained some name on it, being the only known beauty pageant in Victoria for Asian crossdressers, drag queens and ladyboys. It is only open to Asians or with Asian background or ancestry.
The crown for the past two years had been held by Filipino winners – namely Jasmine in 2005 and Gabrielle in 2006.
And so to continue with this beautiful tradition, I joined the contest – mainly for FUN and camaraderie with the ASIAN gay community…
There were three Filipino contestants and the others were from Thailand. It was really fun, fun, and fun and you learn a lot from joining this gay beauty pageant…..
And the winners in their evening gowns are:
